Elkhart Lake Open Gym

Just a quick post for all you gym rats. If you are looking for some great competative hoops to play. There is one of the best open gyms in our area in Elkhart Lake. It is either at the High School or Middle School, but I it definately is every Sunday at 4:00 PM…rain or shine. They are just down the block from each other so if you go to one and it is closed, just drive to the other. Come on, and get a good workout. You won’t be disappointed.

Deer Hunting within the City of Kiel

There is actually a discussion going on at the local City of Kiel Government about selling a temporary hunting permit(s) to aid in “eradicating” the deer population within the city limits. I would encourage everyone to talk to their alderman about this if they are as concerned about this as I am. I will be writing a letter this week and sending it in to the mayor and the city council. I recommend everyone do this that is concerned about this or has small children as I do. I would think we can come up with an alternate method if it is really in the publics interest to remove the deer.
